Dearborn Chamber of Commerce Opens New Office

The Dearborn Chamber of Commerce recently moved to a new office location in the old Bryant Branch library at 22100 Michigan Avenue in Dearborn. Previously the Chamber had been located on Michigan Avenue near Greenfield Road. The Chamber is hosting a grand opening "open house" celebration on Friday, October 2nd to commemorate the move to the new location.  The new office is located on the lower level of the library. Easy Green Shop Announces Contest – How Green Are You?

Dearborn, MI – Easy Green Shop recently announced the "How To Be Green" contest. The Dearborn based company is looking for great ideas and interesting photographs showing  “How To Be Green”. Tom Cruise – Cruises Through Dearborn

Hollywood actor Tom Cruise stopped by the Redskins team hotel in Dearborn, MI, on Saturday afternoon with 3 year old daughter Suri, tagging along. Cruise was in town to watch the Washington Redskins lose Sunday's game with the Detroit Lions (final score: 19-14) , in what the Bleacher Report called the most embarrassing Redskins loss ever seen in the past thirty years. Guido Theater in the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center on Michigan Ave. Kypros Markou, Music Director will be conducting with the Vanguard Grand Chorus performing Haydn's Symphony No. 88, followed by Mendelssohn's Hymn of Praise. Dearborn police are seeking a suspect in a recent fatal hit-and-run accident, and asking for the public's help in locating witnesses or information about the driver and vehicle. On Saturday, September 12th, Gerald Bojanowski (56 years old, and recently retired from Ford Motor Company) was riding his motorcycle to the "Hogs Heaven" fundraising event at the Fort Dearborn American Legion post on Telegraph Road, when he was apparently struck from behind by a black 2005 Saturn Vue.
