Police Investigate Bazzi Chase, Assault, Shooting Case

DEARBORN, Michigan — Dearborn Police are continuing to investigate an Officer Involved Shooting. Officers were attempting to stop 39 year old Dearborn resident, Hassan Ibrahim Bazzi, who was traveling at high rates of speed and disregarding traffic control devices on Warren Avenue. After a brief pursuit the suspect stopped his vehicle on Schaefer near Haggerty. As a Sergeant approached the vehicle the suspect accelerated and attempted strike the Sergeant with his vehicle. DEARBORN, Michigan - Dearborn area public high school students returning from winter break will have a few weeks to prepare for final exams that will begin on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Rotary Club of Dearborn Announces New Scholarship

DEARBORN, Michigan  – The Rotary Club of Dearborn has announced the creation of a new scholarship, The Dearborn Rotary Past President Young Scholarship. The first scholarship of $1,500 will be awarded in 2012 to one or more graduating seniors from the three public high schools in Dearborn. This new scholarship was made possible through the generosity of Robert Young, a longtime member and past president of the Rotary Club of Dearborn.
