Dearborn Police Need Assistance from the Public
DEARBORN, Mich. - Dearborn, Wyandotte and Southgate Police are actively following up on tips received in the 3 robberies of local bars that took place in the last month. Arrest Made For Catalytic Converter Thefts
DEARBORN, Mich. — After receiving information from a citizen, Dearborn Police began surveillance of a suspect believed to be connected with a rash of catalytic converter thefts from parked vehicles. During the morning of February 23rd, officers watched as Karondi Nasseer Hernton, a 34 year-old Detroit resident, drove a 2001 Tan Lincoln Towne Car to a parking lot at Michigan and Schlaff where he used a reciprocating saw to remove two catalytic converters from a parked vehicle.
