OOTD Cancels Protest – Condemns Jones and Mohammed

DEARBORN, Michigan - Representatives of the Michigan fraternity - Order of the Dragon (OOTD) - met with the Dearborn mayor and a small group of Dearborn area religious leaders on Saturday morning (April 16) to discuss Sharia law, "soft jihad", and mis-perceptions of the Dearborn community. After the meeting, Mr. Frank Fiorello, President of OOTD, indicated they were cancelling the protest planned for Friday, April 22nd in front of the Islamic Center of America.  Pastor Terry Jones, however, is still scheduled to make an appearance. Dearborn Officials Face Federal Court Lawsuit

DEARBORN, Michigan – The Thomas More Law Center (TMLC), a law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, announced  that the City of Dearborn,  Mayor John B. O’Reilly, Chief of Police Ronald Haddad, 17 City police officers, and two executives of the American Arab Chamber of Commerce were named as defendants in a ninety-six page federal civil rights lawsuit filed in the Federal District Court in Detroit on 22-Feb-2011. DEARBORN, Mich. – Michigan’s cold winter will hopefully be less bitter for thousands of hungry people in metro Detroit, thanks to donations from customers and staff at Westborn Market.  During the past month, this independent gourmet grocer’s three stores collected donations totaling nearly $14,400 for Forgotten Harvest, a mobile food rescue organization in metro Detroit.
