Voting for the Coolest Winter Fun Hot Spots

DEARBORN, Mich. – Local news station Channel 4 (WDIV), has nominated seven Dearborn establishments for its Vote 4 the Best contest’s Winter Guide edition. Sponsored by Local 4 and ClickonDetroit.com, the contest has become a very popular hook in recent years. This year’s winter edition has over 300 businesses nominated in 23 categories, six of which contain Dearborn businesses. Sacrificed Survivors Film Tour Begins in Dearborn

DEARBORN, Mich. --  A new documentary film, Sacrificed Survivors (The Untold Story of the Ground Zero Mega-Mosque) will have a special screening in Dearborn at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center today at 5:30pm, as the film producers kick off a nationwide tour promoting the film. DEARBORN, Mich - Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the leader of the effort to build an Islamic cultural center (Cordoba House / Park 51) two blocks from Ground Zero in New York city, is kicking off a nationwide speaking and fundraising tour starting in Dearborn on January 15, according to reports in the New York Times. New Date for Annual Tree-Lighting and Sing-Along

Join in the holiday spirit with the City of Dearborn’s annual sing along and Tree- lighting Ceremony on Monday, Nov. 22 at 6:30 p.m. the free event is earlier than usual to coincide with the Festival of Trees. Both events are at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave.

DEARBORN, Mich. – The City of Dearborn’s annual Tree-Lighting Ceremony and Sing-Along at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center is earlier than usual this year. The free event is on Monday, November 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The festivities are being held in conjunction with the Festival of Trees Holiday Season Exhibit, which is a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation.
