DEARBORN, Mich. – The City of Dearborn’s annual Tree-Lighting Ceremony and Sing-Along at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center is earlier than usual this year.
The free event is on Monday, November 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Join in the holiday spirit with the City of Dearborn’s annual sing along and tree lighting Ceremony on Monday, Nov. 22 at 6:30 p.m. the free event is earlier than usual to coincide with the Festival of Trees.
The festivities are being held in conjunction with the Festival of Trees Holiday Season Exhibit, which is a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation. The seasonal display runs Nov. 21-Nov. 28 and a small admission charge is in effect, except for the evening of the sing-along.
The schedule of events on Nov. 22 is as follows:
- 6:30 p.m. Dearborn High School Marching Band (Theater Circular Drive)
- 6:30 p.m. Festival of Trees Holiday Season Exhibit (Hubbard Ballroom from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.)
- 7 p.m. Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Sing-Along with Mayor John B. O’Reilly, Jr.(Theater Circular Drive)
- 7:30 p.m. Refreshments in the Main Lobby and a Visit with Santa Claus in the Hubbard Ballroom
