New Era in Middle East – or False Start?

DEARBORN, Michigan – The University of Michigan-Dearborn will host “Events in the Middle East: A New Era or a False Start?” a faculty forum on Egypt, Tunisia, and the Region on Tuesday, Feb. 8 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Room 1030 of the campus’s College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters building.

The event is free and open to the public.

EgyptFaculty members participating in the discussion include Cam Amin, history, “The Green Movement in Iran”; Hani Bawardi, history, “Egypt’s Revolution in Arab Context”; Tim Kiska, communications, “Uses of Internet and Social Media”; Ron Stockton, political science, “A Comparative Perspective”; Michael Twomey, economics, “An Economist’s Perspective.”
