DEARBORN, Michigan – Residents in Dearborn can put their green recycling carts at the curbside every other week on their trash day, but sometimes the schedule is hard to remember.
A calendar that came with every recycling cart last year expires on June 30, 2011, so the City has created a new recycling calendar to assist residents with this environmentally-friendly activity.
Residents may place their recycling carts at the curb every other week, according to the schedule for their neighborhood. The schedule designates “A” weeks and “B” weeks. Each recycling cart is marked with an “A” or a “B.”
The curbside recycling calendar for July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012 can be found online at www.cityofdearborn.org. It was also in the last edition of the printed city newsletter, The Back Fence, which was mailed to every household in April.
