Dearborn Symphony Begins 50th Season

September 1, 2011 By News Release

DEARBORN, MI – Ode to Joy! The Dearborn Symphony Golden Anniversay season opens with an inspiring concert. Copland’s stirring Fanfare for the Common Man and Beethoven’s bright and dynamic Fidelio Overture provide a forceful prelude to Beethoven’s magnificent 9th Symphony. His triumphant celebration of the human spirit features the timeless melody Ode to Joy.

The combined forces of orchestra,Vanguard Grand Chorus, and four spectacular vocalists set the stage for an unforgettable season of celebration! Please join us before the concert for a special dinner catered by OPUS ONE. Experience a rare opportunity to enjoy dinner in Dearborn’s 19th District Courthouse with its beautiful mural Justice is Blind in the reception rotunda and expansive views of the courtyard.
