DEARBORN, Michigan – Members of the First Baptist Church in Dearborn and the United Auto Workers (UAW) Local 245 volunteered to help senior citizens during the 10th annual Rake the Town in November.
The volunteers assisted homebound Dearborn seniors with clearing their lawns and gutters of leaves.

MaryAnn Manduch and Marsha Koet from the City of Dearborn Senior Services Division and members of the UAW Local 245 members pose before they begin the 10th Annual Rake the Leaves event to help homebound seniors with yard work.
UAW Local 245 has been helping elderly residents for the past 10 years with this free service.
“UAW Local 245 believes strongly in being involved in our community and is proud that we are able to work with and assist many residents and organizations in our great city,” said Keith Brown, president of UAW Local 245.
This annual event is organized by the City of Dearborn’s Senior Services Division.
