Camp Dearborn Opens Modern Resort Cabins

Camp Dearborn marked the opening of eight new resort cabins at the recreational facility on June 16, adding a more modern option for vacationing at the family-friendly campground. Shown here (with scissors) are Dearborn Mayor John B. O’Reilly, Jr., and Milford Township Supervisor Donald Green. Among the celebrants were Dearborn City Council members Robert Abraham and Mark Shooshanian. Dearborn Recreation Commissioners Jeff Stassen, John Sczomak and John Ruselowski were joined by Joanne Murphy of the Friends of Camp and Recreation and Parks Director Greg Orner, as well as staff members Teddy Shaskos, Eric Peterson, Lee Morris, Peggy Schous and Al and Linda Dyer. City of Dearborn department directors also showed support for the new cabins.
