Police Looking for Dearborn Federal Savings Bank Bandit

DEARBORN, Michigan – On July 30, 2012 at approximately 2:00pm a light skinned male (see images below) entered the Dearborn Federal Savings Bank located at 22180 Carlysle wearing sunglasses and a mask to cover his face. After demanding money from the teller, the suspect placed the cash in a duffel bag he was carrying and fled the bank.  No weapon was seen.

The suspect is described as a white male of unknown ethnicity who appeared to be in his 20’s, approximately 6’0” tall, 180lbs, and was wearing a blue baseball cap turned backwards with a white and red circular emblem, sunglasses, a black mask covering the lower portion of his face, a black windbreaker style jacket with white or silver reflective material along the seams, and dark pants. It is unknown at this time if the suspect entered a vehicle or fled on foot.

Chief Haddad is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information
regarding this robbery is asked to contact the Dearborn Police Tip Line at 313-943-3012.
