Salvation Army Dearborn Heights Offers Day Camps

May 10, 2013 By News Release

DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Michigan – Registration is now open for summer day camp at The Salvation Army Dearborn Heights Citadel, 26700 W. Warren St. in Dearborn Heights, Michigan

Summer day camp, which is also held at the Dearborn Heights Citadel, runs Monday, June 17 through Friday, Aug. 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and is open to children ages 6 to 14 years old.

The cost is $100 per week with a $25 registration fee. Before and after care are also available upon request for an additional cost of $2.50 per hour. Children are welcome to attend one or several weeks of camp. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited.

This year’s day camp is themed “SKY: Put your trust in God and the sky’s the limit.” The program will encourage kids to actively explore their talents while building self-esteem and individuality.

No two days will be the same as campers enjoy a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, Bible lessons, cooking, music, swimming, field trips and educational and community events, as well as recreational and social activities.

For more information or to register, contact Dan Bell at (313) 563-4457 ext.107.
