DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Michigan – Dearborn Heights Montessori Center (DHMC) invites parents to attend a free parent workshop on Monday, January 20, 2014. Rick Ackerly, a nationally recognized educator and speaker, will lead an educational presentation that will help parents learn how to bring out the best in their children.

The workshop will be held from 7  to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2014 at the DHMC campus, located at 466 N. John Daly in Dearborn Heights.  Admission is free, and complimentary child care will be available.

“When we have the opportunity to bring in highly respected and engaging speakers, we are glad to invite any parents in our community to join us,” said Kay Neff, head of school at Dearborn Heights Montessori Center.  “I am confident that parents who attend Mr. Ackerly’s presentation will take away insights and tips that they can put to use right away.”
