Fire Department Honors Men Who Rescued Burn Victim

Fire Chief Joe Murray honored brothers Abdullah Ali Baadani, 19, and Hassen Ali Baadani, 25 on Oct. 7 who came to the aid of a burn victim on Sept. 24.

DEARBORN, Michigan – Fire Chief Joseph Murray  honored two Dearborn brothers who rushed to the aid of another man injured when a neighboring vacant house exploded.  Murray presented citations to Abdullah Ali Baadani, 19, and Hassen Ali Baadani, 25, at the City Council Meeting. Dearborn Leaf Collection Begins on October 20th

Put your leaves in bags or approved containers on your trash day to ensure pick up every week. In contrast, loose leaf collection may only occur in a neighborhood two times during the season. Loose leaf collection takes place on a neighborhood’s trash day during a non-recycling week, but it may take several non-recycling weeks to complete a whole district.

DEARBORN, Michigan – As leaves begin falling in large numbers, Dearborn residents are reminded of the convenient ways the City of Dearborn offers to dispose of them. Derek Hughes Named 2014 Volunteer of the Year
