Festival of Trees Holiday Shop Opens in Dearborn’s ACO Hardware

November 16, 2010 By News Release

DEARBORN, Mich. – Dearborn Mayor John B. O’Reilly, Jr. (center, with scissors) recently helped celebrate the grand opening of the 2010 Festival of Trees Holiday Shop with Dearborn ACO Hardware manager Steve VanMaele (also with scissors). Joining them for the ribbon cut were VanMaele’s wife, Sue (at far right in the first row). Also on hand were ACO employees,  Chamber of Commerce event coordinator Peggy Richard, and Festival of Trees organizers and supporters, including (from left, starting at the ribbon): Debbie Dingell; Sharon Dulmage; Theresa Dieffenbach, the director of publicity for the Festival of Trees; Anina Bachrach and Sandy Butler. The Festival of Trees is November 21 – 28 at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center. Dearborn ACO’s Holiday Shop continues till Christmas. ACO is a major underwriter of the 2010 event. A portion of purchases at Dearborn’s ACO will be donated to the Festival, which benefits the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation.
