DEARBORN, Michigan -  Flood victims have more time to file for federal assistance. The Flood at Ford Field on June 7, 2010

After the heavy rains of June 4-6, the Rouge River overflowed it's banks into the Ford Field playground, picnic area and parking lot. On Sunday evening, June 6, half of the parking lot was under water. However, by the morning of June 7, over 95% of the parking lot was submerged -- turning the whole area into a small lake.
