Henry Ford Museum Celebrates Black History Month

DEARBORN, Michigan – During the month of February, Henry Ford Museum will commemorate the journey and legacy of African-Americans during Celebrate Black History!, February 1-5, 8-12, 15-19 and 22-26. Admission to Henry Ford Museum is free with membership or $17 adults, $15 senior (62 and up) and $12.50 youth (5-12). Children four and under are free. Salvation Army Launches $8.2 Million Red Kettle Campaign

DETROIT, Michigan — The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit will launch its annual Red Kettle Campaign throughout Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties on Friday, Nov. 11. This year’s goal is $8.2 million, a figure needed to ensure the organization can continue providing more than 3 million meals and nearly 700,000 nights of shelter each year to the less fortunate.
